Flor Méndez

Flor is a Lawyer in the intellectual property department of the firm that mainly advises and directs the legal strategies that are applied to clients seeking services from the firm in Guatemala, centralizing the management and due diligence of the portfolios of trademarks, patents of invention, and other intellectual property rights in coordination with the local and foreign companies that require it.

She also advises on litigation actions at the administrative and civil level related to the intellectual property rights of clients, such as objections (official actions of the Intellectual Property Registry), oppositions, revocation appeals, appeals, actions of unfair competition (trade dress), infringement of intellectual property rights and others. 

She has advised clients on transfer of technology contracts, including confidential contracts and agreements in business strategies from a legal and rights-protection point of view. Flor advices artists and producers on related rights contracts, as well as on issues related to the distribution of products and services.
