In 1976 I founded the firm Rolando Palomo & Asociados, which later, in 2005, became Palomo & Porras and today, Palomo Abogados. There are already two generations who perform professionally in the different fields of law to which we have dedicated ourselves. 

Personally, my beginnings are in the field of Maritime and Insurance law, an area that we currently take as one of the most prominent of the Firm and that now finds a new position in alliance with the Kennedys SLP firm.

At an international level, the positioning of our firm has also been for the last 15 years in the Intellectual Property area, which became a differentiator of the Firm, generating wide recognition and appreciation by national and foreign clients and colleagues.

Likewise, the strengthening of business care to corporate requirements became a fundamental area and more and more national and foreign companies are placing their portfolios with us for the proper management, advice, administration and conduction of their business in Guatemala and in the Central American region.

All of these areas would not be complete if they did not rely on a top-of-the-range litigation team that provide certainty, security and protection to any contingency that comes from the areas of law that we represent.
